twenty twelve.

2012 goals:
  1. Become more teachable
  2. Learn to have a gentle and quiet spirit
  3. Change mindset from "Why can't I..." to "How can I..."
And the annual goals of exercising more and turning more into a Christlike mold. In order to enact the exercise goal (there is a bet weighing on it), I must run 50 miles by February 19.Starting at 0 miles now, but hoping to have quite a bit more than that by the end of the day! Hope you have a lovely New Years Day, full of thanks to God for the past year and eagerly looking anew towards 2012!

"I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time."
